WHS Centennial Historian And Custodian Of Artifacs & Memorabilia
During the current period of time in the CENTENNIAL
history of Webster High School, the name RANDLE
WILSON is as synonymous with WEBSTER HIGH
SCHOOL as the names W.L. HAYES AND J.L.
JONES are to the current remaining ALUMNI of today.
RANDLE WILSON'S importance to KEEPING THE
LEGACY ALIVE is an ongoing LEGACY of it's own
because of his valuable knowledge and steadfast
continually sharing historic information to us on a
daily basis about WEBSTER HIGH SCHOOL from his
own personal archives. Through his administration of
THE MIGHTY WEBSTER WOLVES FACEBOOK
GROUP, he continually keeps us all up to date with
current events about WHS ALUMNI. MR. WILSON
was first to recognize and expose that the the beginning
of the history of WEBSTER HIGH SCHOOL was 1922
instead of 1924, which had been incorrectly used for
many years. Without MR. WILSON'S personal archives
and his steadfast efforts of KEEPING THE LEGACY
ALIVE, much of our school history would be lost. For
these and other reasons, The Class Of 1958 is proud to
present our CENTENNIAL CHOICE AWARD to MR.
RANDLE W. WILSON (Class Of 1971) as
THE WHS CENTENNIAL HISTORIAN AND
CUSTODIAN OF ARTAFACS & MEMORABIIA.
